गहू पीक - भाग २ । भांगलण आणि कोळपण 

 कालचा शेतकरी आणि आजचा शेतकरी यांचा जेंव्हा मी तौलनिक अभ्यास करतो तेंव्हा एक गोष्ट प्रकर्षाने जाणवते आणि ती ही की आजचा शेतकरी जरी तुलनात्मक जास्त उत्पन्न घेत असला तरी आजच्या शेतकऱ्यांची ऊर्जेची मागणी ही भूतकाळातील शेतकऱ्यांपेक्षा वाढलेली आहे.आजचा शेतकरी हा पारंपारिक शेतीपासून दुरावला. जसजसा काळ पुढे सरत गेला तसतशी सर्वच क्षेत्रांमध्ये तंत्रज्ञानाची प्रगती होतं गेली. शेती क्षेत्रातदेखील विज्ञान आणि तंत्रज्ञानामध्ये क्रांती झाली. 

तंत्रज्ञानाचा मूळ उद्देशच मानवाचे कष्ट कमी करणे आणि त्याचे जीवन सुसह्य बनवणे हे आहे. पारंपारिक शेती मध्ये क्रित्येक कामासाठी शेतकऱ्याला कष्ट करावे लागायचे त्याऐवजी शेतकऱ्यांची तीच कामे आता यंत्र करू लागली. अगदी काही वर्षापूर्वी शेतीला पाणी पाजण्याचे काम असो त्यासाठी विहिरीवर बैलजोडीच्या सहाय्याने चालणाऱ्या मोटीचा वापर शेतकरी करायचा. 

 पण आज त्याचं मोटेची जागा आता मोटर ने घेतली आहे. मोटरने शेतकऱ्यांचे कष्ट कमी केले नांगरट कुळवणी पेरणी कोळपण इत्यादी जी स्वतः शेतकरी मनुष्यबळ किंवा गोवंश याच्या सहाय्याने करत होता त्यासाठी आता घातक तणनाशक तसेच ट्रक्टर चा वापर करू लागला. 

मनुष्यबळाचा वापर करून भांगलण करण्याऐवजी तो विषारी तणनाशकाचा मारा करू लागला त्यामुळे जमिनीतून जिवाणूची संख्या कमी झाली आणि जमीन नापीक होऊन त्याचा मानवाच्या शरीरावर विपरीत परिणाम होऊ लागला. शेतकरी हां पर्यावरणाचा एक महत्वाचा घटक आहे. त्याचा विकास होताना पर्यावरणाचा ह्रास होऊ नये याची काळजी आता सर्वानी घेणे आवश्यक आहे.

The basic purpose of technology is to reduce human toil and make life more bearable. In traditional agriculture, the farmer had to work hard for every work, instead the same work of the farmer has now started to be done by machines. Even a few years ago, farmers used to use bullocks on wells to irrigate agriculture.

But today his mote has been replaced by a motor. The motor reduced the labor of the farmers like ploughing, plowing, sowing, weeding, etc., which were done by the farmer himself with the help of manpower or cattle, now he started using dangerous herbicides and tractors.

Instead of weeding using human power, he began to use toxic herbicides, which reduced the number of bacteria in the soil and made the land infertile, which had an adverse effect on the human body. Farmers are an important part of the environment. It is now necessary for everyone to take care not to degrade the environment during its development.
